Four clean, fun and delicious Salad Dressings
Salad dressings made from scratch are so much cleaner and healthier for you and your families. Store bought dressing are not clean eating friendly in most cases. To make your own salad dressings is not as hard as most think. It’s fun!
I make all my salad dressings in a great little inexpensive gadget called a Magic Bullet. The Magic Bullet can be used for many things, including all your favorite Shakeology recipes. The following four dressings are simple clean recipes and are delicious. They also store well for days covered tightly in your fridge.
This first one might be my favorite salad dressing. It’s a no oil dressing. Healthy fats are extremely good for you but sometimes a no oil salad dressing is what I choose, if I don’t need anymore fat for the day.
Berry and Balsamic Salad Dressing
Ingredients
Any berry of your choice. On this day I chose Blueberries
Balsamic vinegar
Pepper
Method
Place berries in the Magic Bullet or blender about 1/2 to 1 cup depending on how much you want to make.
Cover the berries with balsamic vinegar.
Add Himalayan salt and pepper to your taste
Blend until smooth and creamy.
I do like to use a thick, rich balsamic for my salad dressings. Splurge a little, it’s worth it.
